About Us
We are committed to saving dogs from high kill shelters and providing them with a safe haven until they find their forever home.
Shepherd's Paws Animal Rescue was established in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the specific purpose of operating an all breed animal rescue. We are dedicated to providing rescue to abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless animals. We rescue dogs in the United States from imminent death at animal shelters, humane societies, pounds, and from owners who no longer keep their dogs, and place them into new and permanent adoptive homes.
All of our dogs receive vet care, are up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.

My heart is shattered. My very first rescue died yesterday. The hardest dog I have ever rescued. He charged the fence for 12 days until I was given notice it was his last day. I sat down in front of his kennel at Lancaster and looked at him and said "Cory sit down and shut up or you're going to die!". He did just that and brushed up against the cage for me to put my fingers through to rub him. I sent him to an adopter that has become my very good friend and he has had the best 7 years of his life before cancer took him at the age of 10.
